GFE Gesellschaft zur Forschung, Entwicklung und Distribution von Diagnostika im Blutspendewesen mbH

Situation:

The company gave itself a new product and growth strategy and was looking for the best possible org structure to achieve the new goals.

Solution:

The new strategy was translated into work that needed to be done to execute this strategy. This work was then assigned to existing teams and a few new teams.

Twist:

Matching strategy and work first, then work and existing teams, made it easier for everyone to align on the goals and the necessary work, leaving issues with changes of work assignment and responsibilities aside. Once the alignment was there, the new assignment felt logic and made more sense.
